Richard is now a full-time dance teacher as well as running the Ceroc Live franchise.

He has been dancing Ceroc since 1998 & has been a Ceroc teacher since September 2000. His previous venues include Oxford and Twyford (Reading) plus guest teaches at many other venues.

Richard is an examiner and a teacher trainer as well as sitting on the board for choosing new Ceroc teachers. He also judges at the National Ceroc champs.

Richard is also an accomplished DJ with 18 years experience and is always very open to music suggestions (email dance@ceroclive.com)

Maddy has been dancing since October 2001. She also runs the other half of the Ceroc Live franchise (with Richard).

She spends her spare time looking after her and Richard's children; William, Isabelle and Eva.

Maddy's role as Venue Manager is to take queries and/or suggestions regarding any aspects of Ceroc Live, so please feel free to get in contact. (email dance@ceroclive.com)

Sarah
ZoeSarah
Zoe first started dancing at the age of 3 when she was introduced to ballet. This was the first manifestation of her love for dance which led her on to Contemporary, Jazz, Ballroom, Tap and eventually Modern Jive & West Coast Swing.

She has already shown herself to be a dedicated teacher of dance by teaching tap at Durham University for the 4 years she was there studying Japanese.

She finally came to the Modern Jive scene in 2005 and since then has become passionate about it, competing in several competitions including the Ceroc Midlands Champs and "Best in the West".

When Zoe's not dancing (which is not very often) she is a Learning and Development Manager who enjoys red wine, horse riding, camping and clothes shopping.
Sarah started dancing ballet at 4 years old because her mum thought it might use up some of her endless energy! She started dancing Ceroc in 2005 and absolutely loved it, never realising how much she'd missed dancing after stopping for 6 years when she became a mum.

Sarah will be teaching at our new venue in Cirencester which will open early 2008

Jan

Carl started dancing in 2004 in Swindon (badly and after several pints of beer!) After a 2 1/2 year stint as one of our taxi dancers he started teaching in early 2007 as he really enjoys giving something back.

Apart from Ceroc, his hobbies include fast cars and faster bikes! Somehow he fits in his job as an IT engineer around these.
Jan has been dancing Ceroc since 2004 when he came to Britain. He started dancing in Swindon and soon became addicted to it. Before Jan had been dancing for two years in Ballroom and Latin during his university course.

In 2007 he participated in several competitions with Zoe including the Ceroc Midlands Champs & and Best in the West.

Outside of dancing he usually plays badminton. He also is interested in software development, likes reading books, watching movies and meeting with friends.

Angie
KateAngie
Kate has been dancing Ceroc since October 1997. She started dancing in Chester where she used to live and would make regular trips to Manchester to get her dancing fix.

Kate has been demonstrating for a number of years and has demonstrated with Richard at weekenders and workshops.

Kate's main hobby is Ceroc but also enjoys cooking and eating out. She has recently bought her first house and has discovered, much to her own surprise, that she likes gardening.
Angie started dancing Ceroc in Berkshire in 1997, having had her appetite whetted after seeing it performed at a private function in London.

In addition to dancing, Angie is a keen collector of early jazz 78's, which she listens to on her portable wind-up gramophones which date from the 1930s and has accumulated an array of original sheet music, primarily from the 1940s, but dating back as far as the First World War. As a former illustrator, she also enjoys taking in the odd art gallery or exhibition, and is an avid theatre-goer.

Debbie was introduced to Ceroc in Kent by a neighbour back in 1997, but she started dancing when she was 10. Her Ballroom and Latin American dancing won her gold medals (and some silver and bronze too!) and a range of certificates.

She moved to Cirencester in 1999 and joined Ginger Jive, then in 2003 found Richard and Maddy in Swindon - as they say, the rest is history...
Darren has been Cerocing since 1999, after a work colleague persuaded him to take some lessons (probably based on his dancing on a river boat at a work party earlier that year!)

Darren's really keen on music and hifi, along with a bit of travelling. Pretty much the only way to cut short one of his travel stories is to ask him about his Caterham 7 sports car!

Darren's role is to build and maintain this website, ensuring that it covers everything about the Ceroc Live franchise. He's always open to feedback on the website, or you can contact him if you're interested in having a website created for you (email darrenp@ceroclive.com)
